In order to honor parents have to teach them. Focus on each person's needs.
Respect their traditions.
Not your being rejected but Jesus. Be sad, but not discouraged.
Whatever your rejection, remember there is worse and He will take care of you.
Won't hurt you but you might be marred.
Some things really really hard, but we are God's battle axe.
God is always watching.

MTC Instruction: Baptizing and Confirming

PMG was created to baptize more people.
Missionary work to spread the gospel.
D&C 88:73
In last 10 years missionaries baptizing one-half as back then.
With concerted effort and sincere prayer we could double our numbers (wants 600,000 a year)
Ch. 1 PMG got the most attention of any other.
Missionaries lose sight of their purpose.
The purpose as missionary has changed from simple conversion (that's it) to service, retention, activation.
Missionaries got carried away with service and retention and started baptizing less.
Never meant to be more important than baptizing.
Wanted to make Ch. 1 more cheap.
Overcome fall through Atonement.
Purpose of missionary work is to baptize others.
Baptism is outward manifestation of conversion.
D&C 4:4 harvesting is baptizing

Primary role is to baptize. Desire convert baptisms.
Our central commission (purpose) is to teach and baptize all nations. Must not dedicate strength and energy on other things no matter how worthy (service, less actives etc.) We do these things to teach.

If not sure you can baptize, we all can repent.

- Invite people to be baptized from beginning.
- Focus on whom Lord prepares.
- Teach through Spirit.

See a lot of potential and wants to bring that out. Plan of Salvation gives a peace and a goal.
We are in God's household.
Our calling as missionaries most sacred part of the plan of salvation..entrusted with God's souls.
We get sidetracked thinking about ourselves but this is the Lord's work.
Unfocusedness melts away as you think about investigators.
Your time is the Lord's time.
Bruce R. McConkie "Selected as personal representative of Jesus Christ." This is what Jesus Christ wants you to be here in this district in this room in this minute.
Start keeping goals and making them i.e. SYling, paying attention in class.
Stop wasting time, losing focus in class.
Start encouraging others to do better and lifting their confidences.
Stop being so focused on me. Let go. This is the Lord's work, I've wanted to do this since I can remember, so it's time to do it right and lose myself in the work. Don't lose who I am but lose my worldly focuses.
Wants to reiterate urgency.
Do we fully comprehend the urgency?
Urgency hasn't set in this class. Urgent calling for immediate action or attention.
Do we feel the urgency in this work like an apostle that said if he could go back, knock on every door and then when he collapsed he would lay and yell the gospel. That's how urgent it is!!
Everything needs to be done with a sense of the importance of the gospel.
Pray for Mission ALREADY, so you get attached and realize people will depend on us.

- If a man lacks wisdom, can't just say "it's over nature" we need to pray to God to give it to us.
- Past is behind, learn from it.
- What we live in now is a gift, that's why we call it the present. At times all of us let self-doubt wreck our lives. Enemy screams "Too little, Can't Do It." But we need to realize you are in image of God.
- When you feel alone, remember who you are.
- Live bold. Bold & Overbearing. Be Bold.
- There are games we finish last, but goal is to rise above it. Shows are ability to overcome and proves determination.

Missionary badge is put over your heart.
Will receive guidance as you are worthy.
Ordinances of salvation: baptism, confirmation, endowment, etc.
Can't have necessary without power of the Godhead.
Are we talking about the world in our conversations instead of about God.
Are we contentious?
Are we listening to worldly music?
Impure thoughts.
Ingratitude, negatvity.
Pessimism
Unfocused. Unprepared, Unclean. Wasting time.
Jesus is on the back of our soul. He's clean but if we mess up our soul, people see dirt, not the Savior.
We speak for God every day of our lives!
You have Christ on your chest and in your hearts.
Power so great, you have no idea what you even have!
Are you willing to change?
Be an example of the believers.
Every time you improve.
Train your mind.
Repent, you are fighting for your investigators.
Time is short! It's gone for him? Not for us.
Jacob worked for 7 years but seemed but a small moment because love for wife. Our mission but a small moment, seem like it if we love the people.
Get Jeremiah's fire and you can do anything.
Seen missionaries live and missionaries die. Sad when they die.
Path on being best ever been.
Remember your calling. 3 Nephi: 12-13. Memorize vs. 13.
Remember who you are, disciples of Christ.

Every person is different so be sensitive to their circumstances.
Adapt to needs and questions.
Sometimes if you answer one's question is successful lesson.
Be sensitive to amount of new information.
Answer questions and ask questions.

23--Edification at the point your investigator gets lost...are they being edified? The second you lose the investigator you've lost the Spirit and the only way to get it back is vs. 22 when understand together.
26--Appointment to be the greatest.

Wear make-up and look presentable every day, remember others are children of God. The little things take care of the big things.
Floss once a day.
Teaching--Focus on doctrine.
Conversion story--some people have no family support and yet they are happy through the gospel. How much more grateful should the sisters be who have a family that loves and respects them for serving a mission? To have not only the gospel, but a support behind it as well.
